Terms of Use

This English text is provided for convenience. The Turkish version is the legally binding one; if the two differ, the Turkish version prevails.

These terms govern your use of the Luma app and this website. By creating an account or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the app.

1. Parties

Luma is operated by Buska Yazılım Bilgi Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi ("Buska"):

2. Definitions

• Client: A user who creates an account and receives services from advisors.
• Advisor: An independent service provider who holds sessions and answers reading requests through the app.
• Coin: The virtual unit used to pay for services within the app.
• Session: A live voice or video conversation between a client and an advisor.
• Appointment: A session scheduled for a future time.
• Reading request: A request with text and photos that a client sends to an advisor, together with the advisor's reply.

3. Nature of the service

• Luma is an intermediary platform that connects clients with independent advisors. Advisors are not employees of Buska; they offer their views and readings in their own name.
• Tarot, cup reading, astrology and similar services are provided for entertainment and personal development. They are not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial advice and do not guarantee any future outcome. Consult qualified professionals before making decisions about your health, legal matters or money.
• You are responsible for the decisions you make based on what is said in sessions and readings.

4. Account and age

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Luma.
• An account is created with your phone number. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for the security of your account. Do not share your verification codes with anyone.
• Each person may create only one account. Creating an account in someone else's name is prohibited.
• You can delete your account at any time.

5. Coins

• Coins are a virtual unit used only to pay for services within Luma. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another account or used outside Luma.
• Purchased coins do not expire. Coins granted in promotions or as gifts may have an expiry date, which is stated when they are granted.
• Bonus coins included with packages are shown in the package details.
• When you delete your account, any remaining coins are deleted with it. Details are on the account deletion page.

6. Purchases, refunds and withdrawal

• Coin packages are purchased through the App Store or Google Play, and payment is collected by the store. Prices are shown in the store and may vary by country. We reserve the right to change prices; changes do not affect purchases already made.
• Coins are digital content and are credited to your account at the moment of purchase. Under article 15 of the Turkish Regulation on Distance Contracts, the right of withdrawal does not apply to services performed instantly in an electronic environment; you accept this when you make a purchase.
• Spent coins are not refunded, because a service has been received in return.
• Refund requests for unspent coins are assessed under the rules of the relevant store (Apple or Google). If a purchase is refunded by the store, the unspent part of the coins from that purchase is deducted from your balance.
• If the coins you purchased were not credited because of a technical problem, contact us through support.

7. Sessions, appointments and reading requests

• Live sessions are charged per minute. The per-minute rate is shown before the session starts, and coins are deducted from your balance as the session continues. The session ends when your balance runs out.
• Appointments are subject to the cancellation rules shown in the app. Appointments cancelled by the advisor or not held are refunded.
• The fee for a reading request is deducted from your balance when the request is sent. If the advisor does not reply within the stated period, the coins are refunded to your balance.
• If a session is interrupted because of a technical problem, charging stops at the moment of interruption. If you experience a problem, contact support with the time of the session.

8. AI readings

• You can have a reading request interpreted by an AI service. This feature runs only when you start it, and we ask for your explicit consent before first use.
• AI readings are generated automatically; they are not an advisor's opinion, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and do not constitute advice.
• The price of the feature and the data sent are explained in the app and in the privacy policy.

9. Rules of use

The following are prohibited when using Luma:

• Insulting, threatening, harassing or discriminating against others; hate speech.
• Sharing sexual, violent or illegal content.
• Fraud, deception or impersonating another person.
• Directing payments outside Luma or asking others to do so.
• Asking for the other party's personal details, such as their phone number or address, or sharing them without permission.
• Recording sessions without the other party's knowledge and consent.
• Attempting to bypass the app's security, using automated tools or otherwise abusing the service.

10. Reports, blocking and sanctions

• You can report and block a user or content that breaks the rules from within the app. Reports are assessed by our review team.
• If the rules are broken, we may issue a warning, remove content, suspend the account temporarily or close it permanently.
• Owners of permanently closed accounts may not create a new account.

11. Advisors

• Advisors are independent service providers who sign a separate advisor agreement with Buska. Revenue shares, payment terms and additional obligations are set out in that agreement.
• Advisor applications are reviewed by Buska, which reserves the right to reject an application, suspend an advisor or remove an advisor from the platform.
• Advisors are required to keep what they learn in sessions confidential.

12. Intellectual property

The Luma app, brand, design and software belong to Buska. You may not copy, modify or distribute the app beyond personal use. The content you submit remains yours; you grant us permission to use it only to provide the service.

13. Limitation of liability

• Luma is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free; temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance and technical reasons.
• Buska is not responsible for what advisors say, for their readings or for the decisions you make based on them.
• Rights that cannot be limited by law and your rights under consumer protection legislation are reserved.

14. Suspension and termination

If you breach these terms, we may suspend or close your account. You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account.

15. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We announce significant changes in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means that you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul (Bakırköy) have jurisdiction over disputes. Consumers' rights to apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts where they live are reserved.
